The Warriors' Visit to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Was Downright Adorable

We daresay it's "magical."

Oh man, this is a delight. You could argue that pro athletes are just like big kids—the extension of their childhood dreams to be sports stars. And while this often manifests itself in doing a whole rash of stupid things—from punching their trainers to choking a kid outside of a pizza place—sometimes, it's just nice to remember that those big kids can be filled with wonderment as well.

On one of their off days, Warriors players Klay Thompson, Leandro Barbosa, and Harrison Barnes decided to make their way to Orlando to relive the magic of their childhoods with Harry Potter. Their response? Downright adorable.

Klay is the clear protagonist of this trip, after previously telling the press that he was excited about making the trip while playing their away game against the Magic (fitting). As you watch them roll around the fine-tuned details of the park at Universal Studios, you can see Klay crack into a gleeful smile just about every five seconds.

But maybe the best part is the plot twist about halfway through: despite the fact that Harry Potter has definitely been translated into Portuguese, Barbosa, the Brazilian national, didn't grow up reading the books. Barbosa earnestly looks into the camera and says in his thick accent,

"Everything is new for me, y'know, I didn't know that they had this part over here. I don't know anything about the Harry Potter. Now it got me interested, y'know. The guys came in and enjoyed this tour on the Harry Potter thinking [?], so uh, I'm going back to the plane and watch the movies."

Oh man. I've seen the Barbosa part about five times now, and it gets me every time. Magic for all.
