Andrew McCutchen Hands Kids Batting Gloves after Win, Kids Have Religious Experience

Andrew McCutchen gave a couple fans some souvenirs after the game last night and they will never forget it.

Being a kid is just better than being an adult in virtually all respects. Sure we adults can do things like party and engage in romantic relationships and drive cars and stuff, but I don't know if my adult self has ever enjoyed something as much as this one kid, specifically, enjoyed getting Andrew McCutchen's batting gloves. The Pirates beat the San Diego Padres last night 5-2, and after the final out was recorded, McCutchen saw some Pirates fans in the San Diego crowd and went over to give them some souvenirs and couple of pounds.

Cutch gave the kid in the yellow jersey his batting gloves and he immediately just starts saying "I love you, man." Over and over. He looks like he might cry, but he's just too damn happy. That final look at the batting gloves in his hand just kills me, too. Like he is recording it in his mind for posterity, or just double-checking to confirm that, yes, Andrew McCutchen actually handed them to him.

Sports are good.
