Sometimes It's Too Tough to Keep It Inside: Here's Chairlift's Video for "Crying in Public"

Chairlift's new record, Moth, is the best thing they've ever created. THE. BEST. Ambitious, diverse, dancey, 90s, and a stunning sonic backdrop to singer Caroline Polachek's truly remarkable vocal capacity. "Crying in Public" is one of the most heartfelt tunes on there. It's about falling in love and getting emotional and not being able to hide it—even if you're on the subway, or in the middle of New York's Union Square.

Below is the video for said song, which intercuts shots of Polachek looking timeless like Sade, singing in the band's Brooklyn studio (in the old Pfizer building), with images of her looking vulnerable, gigantic crystal tears suspended on her flushed cheeks.
