Come Rave With Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign And Noisey At Fresh Island This Summer

Forget the weather and get yourself locked in for Europe's best rap, R&B and grime beach party.

It’s January, which means we’re all starting to think about the festival fields we’re going to be spilling weepingly expensive Tuborgs in over the summer. But maybe – like many have been doing for the last few years – it's time to sack off the mud and make 2016 the 'Year Of The Beach'. Zrce Beach.

For the second year running, Noisey will be returning to Fresh Island; the Croatian festival that takes place on the parched, extra terrestrial island of Pag. The early line up announcement is a rap, R&B and grime free for all – at the top of the poster is certified rap deity Wiz Khalifa, who’ll no doubt remind us of why we couldn’t turn him off in 2015, and moving down the bill, there’s Ty Dolla $ign and legendary East Coast producer Statik Selectah and DJ Premier.

It’s not just dominated by our US bros though: representing GB is rising R&B chief Shakka, perennial grime champion and general hero Logan Sama, and even the don that is Tim Westwood. You’ll also find some of the UK’s most reliable party crews holding it down over the weekend, including Shorebitch, Applebum and So Fresh So Clean.

So, basically, you need to be there. The bash takes place 12th- 14th July, and tickets are £69, which you know is cheaper than anything you’ll find in the UK. For now, watch out Big Narstie video diary from last year to get a gauge for just how gassed Fresh Island gets.
