Watch a Ghostly New Video from Ambient Architects Implodes

Bring on the fuzz.

In a satisfying instance of art imitating life, the fuzzy, out-of-focus Implodes video we're delighted to be debuting here on Noisey beautifully accompanies the band's fuzzy, out-of-focus ambient/drone compositions. Shot on expired film in the depths of Chicago's Music Box Theatre, this short film was created by Lori Felker to add a new visual dimension to the shoegazy fuzzbomb "Out of Reach" (taken from the band's forthcoming Gilead Media debut, Reverser).

The 12-inch EP features two unreleased tracks from the Recurring Dream sessions alongside two newly recorded songs, and was brought into being by Matt (live bassist for Slint and Papa M), Ken Camden (who has two solo albums on Kranky Records), Emily Elhaj (of Angel Olsen's band and of Chicago band Mayor Daley), and Justin Rathell (of Chicago band El Mejor).

Reverser is out March 24 on Gilead Media.
