PREMIERE: Rosie June’s “Cat Comes Home” is a Tune for Your Feline Feuds

Stream the Vancouver-based artist’s funky track about irrelevant fights.

Do people actually get into fights over their cats? According to 23-year-old Rosie June, that’s what her latest track “Cat Comes Home” is about, sort of. Combining the Vancouver-based dream pop artist’s gentle vocals with groovy-synth based production, the track is more than fitting dance music for the apathetic feline in your life. “Cat Comes Home” will appear on Rosie’s forthcoming Post Listening EP set for a release later this summer.

“It's about having an argument with someone about something (your cat for example)” Rosie June explains. “When you're actually fighting about something else entirely without coming out and saying it.”
