From singer Mikaiah Lei:“We were playing around with this surfy riff and started singing the hook as ‘piranha’ because there was a taxidermied one on the wall in the studio. We didn’t want to sing about fish, so we changed the song to be about this crazy girl Alanna from my school who sold red velvet cupcakes to the class and later admitted she would cut her feet and put blood in the batter."V dark, guys.
