This woman, this poor, poor woman took about as direct a shot to the face as a person can take. It might be the best ball-to-the-face ever; I think it hit her right on the nose and she never had a prayer. At no point during the ball's slow path to cartilage destruction did this woman have any idea that a giant orange orb was hurtling toward her face. Everyone else in the blast zone reacted, but she was just carrying on with her neighbor. She was probably looking at cute pictures of one of her grandkids or something and—BOOM!—basketball to the grill.

It was Lance Stephenson who fired the ball and Gerald Henderson gave it the extra fingertip deflection into the woman's face. Her glasses went flying and hair went everywhere but she seemed to be doing fine immediately after. The Hornets bench was checking up on her, which is nice.h/t @thecauldron
