Streets by VICE: Las Vegas

The mob, Mormons, and brothels—VICE cruises Charleston Blvd, Vegas' longest east-to-west street.

Las Vegas' longest running east to west street, Charleston Blvd. is home to a variety of communities who are taking an interest in preserving Las Vegas' history, developing its roots, and manifesting a culture within Vegas that goes beyond The Strip. Traveling along the Boulevard, host Charlet Duboc learns about Las Vegas' mob history from one of the mob's former drivers, discovers the city's roots as a Mormon settler town, and interviews one of the last remaining classic Vegas showgirls. VICE also talks with Tony Hsieh, the founder of Zappos and one of the biggest forces behind Las Vegas' recent revitalization.
