I Don't Know How Caleb Bluiett's Knee Didn't go Down on This Texas Touchdown

Caleb Bluiett made a great play to keep the play alive and score a touchdown.

Texas got out to an early 7-0 lead over Baylor in Waco off a 57-yard strike from Tyrone Swoops to Caleb Bluiett. Swoops sold the play-action pretty well and Bluiett was all alone in the middle of the field for an easy catch. He somewhat awkwardly rumbled down the sideline and then, with a helpful shove from a Baylor defender, he dove for the end zone from about the four-yard line. His left knee was microscopically close to hitting the turf before he crossed the plane, but somehow remained off the ground long enough for him to get in.

That leg was almost totally bent at the knee and he was able to straighten it out and keep the play alive as he made the final lunge. It was called a touchdown on the field and replay review confirmed the call.
