On Tuesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will meet to vote on whether or not Alabama senator Jeff Sessions will become the next attorney general.Tuesday's vote follows Trump's firing of acting attorney general Sally Yates Monday after she refused to defend the president's immigration ban on refugees and people from seven countries with large Muslim populations. She's been replaced by another Obama appointee, US attorney Dana Boente.If the committee approves Sessions, he will still need a vote from the full Senate by the end of the week, where Republicans hold the majority.You can watch the hearing live below via livestream.
