Here's Minnesota's Welcome Back Ceremony for Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett made his return to Minnesota tonight and it was pretty awesome. The crowd loved it and KG probably loved it deep down inside, too.

Last week, the Timberwolves traded Thaddeus Young to the Nets for Kevin Garnett, bringing the Big Ticket back to the franchise that drafted him as a 19-year-old rookie in 1995. Tonight, he made his return to the Target Center and Minnesota put together a pretty awesome highlight clip to show just before his name was called during the starting lineup announcement. The crowd ate it up while KG seemed oddly calm the whole time, which means he was probably a mess of emotions inside.

Garnett did his trademark head butt on the basket stanchion, a little chalk dust clap, and saluted the fans just before tip-off, which he controlled. Also, they had crazy-loud pyrotechnics!

Holy crap guys. https://t.co/eHOFkQ1qef

Overall not bad, as far as returns go.
