Will Ferrell Says Goodbye to David Letterman as Harry Caray

Will Ferrell visited the Ed Sullivan Theater to say goodbye to David Letterman and showed up as legendarily dead Cubs announcer Harry Caray.

"The late Harry Caray, ladies and gentleman." Will Ferrell stopped by the Ed Sullivan Theater to say goodbye to David Letterman and he trotted out his old Harry Caray impression for the occasion. Dave came back from commercial and heard some weirdo talking over him from the audience and when the camera panned over, there was Harry Caray, palsy and nearly incomprehensible.

Caray kept calling Dave Ed, as in Ed Sullivan, and asking when Topo Gigio was coming out, made plenty of old baseball references—including a nice Scooter Rizzuto/The Money Store shout out—and even wondered what in the world we were going to do about "this wall in Berlin." It's not quite "if you were a hot dog, and you were starving, would you eat yourself," but what could ever be better than that?
