Aled Jones Will Perform a History of Jungle Set at This Year's Bestival

The 'Songs of Praise' icon is going to MC alongside Rob Da Bank.

Move over DJ Arch Jr, our favourite Songs of Praise host-cum-mic controller has come through with a massive booking of his own.

The holy jungle MC will be repeating his legendary "History of Jungle" set from 2015 at this year's Bestival according to Rob Da Bank's Twitter, with the event's head honcho taking on selection duties. This, of course, isn't MC Aled's first time performing, after finding fame as a child singing "Walking In The Air", the theme to Channel 4's 'The Snowman'.

A seasoned radio presenter in his own right, with shows on Radio 2, Radio 3 and Classic FM, we're looking forward to the man himself taking some of that experience to the Bestival stage for a hugely electric performance. It goes without saying that this is the chance to see a man at the top of his game, give a history lesson on one of the UK's most prominent dance music genres. If you need any more of a push on to that Bestival booking page, listen to his incendiary set on Capital FM last year and get ready for a session that could go down in dance music history.
