Sonart Splashes Into China's Media Art Scene With "Media Social Live"

The new media art collective bring us a series of multimedia experiments.

Sonart is a new media art collective that involves several avant-garde artists, like B6, Xu Cheng, and Sheng Ligong. Their series of events is dedicated to the development of creative dialogues, curatorial projects, and collaborations between theoretical and technical talents from the New Media Art department at the China Academy of Art. Their series uses similar methodology to the project from Tsing Hua University’s Arts And Sciences Media Lab’s practice department, which we’ve mentioned previously on our Chinese site. The cross-disciplinary nature of Sonart’s collaborations has a lot of potential to explore in future projects.
