There Needs To Be More Spur-Of-The-Moment Videos Like Tusson's "Oh Gosh / We Run The Road"

Tusson's "Oh Gosh / We Run The Road" Video is Proof You Don't Need a Big Budget to Make a Cool Video.

When VICE Global Editor Andy Capper along with Producer Codine Williams and Camerman Danilo Parra  headed down to the Portmore area of Kingston, Jamaica, they ended up coming back with not one but two solid music videos, all shot under the budget of "like $200."

The first video debuted last week (that of course being the Vbyz Kartel "My Crew" video), but yesterday Capper and company dropped another clip for fellow Gaza City local Tusson -- a kid that just happened to be around for the Kartel vid and also makes music himself.

"After we finished that Vbyz video, Tusson said 'Oh, I sing as well,'" according to Codine, continuing to add:

"And we were like, 'Yeah?' 'Cause you know we were skeptical. He's like, 'I have a CD.' We're like, 'OK, let's hear it.' And he ran to his house and grabbed it. He came and is like, 'This song is the shit.' And then we listened to it at first and went, 'OH - this is really cool.' And he's like, 'Can you make a music video for me as well?' And we're like yeah, because they were so open and receptive to us do anything and everything that we asked them to do. Thinking yeah we'll do it, and it's not going to turn into anything. But everything they got asked to do, they did it and it turned out amazing."

Amazing indeed. What's even more awesome to know is how fast the video got completed in post-production. Two days after our team came back home, the video was done.

"Danillo started cutting it the minute we got back to the hotel, because he was so excited about it," explained Codine. "And two days after he came back, it was done! No budget, no nothing -- just right on the spot. Spur-of-the-moment kind of thing and it turned out perfectly."
