Last night, Corinthians Paulista, a soccer team from São Paulo that I just happen to have a tattoo for, won the semifinal round of the Copa Libertadores, the South American club soccer championship. If none of that made any sense, I apologize; suffice to say, it’s just a really big deal. Corinthians has one of the largest fanbases in Brazil, and also happens to have a very social media-savvy staff.Even so, I was blown away this morning when I saw this Facebook photo album from the team, that, when you click through it quickly, is actually a Facebook flipbook. In case you’re wondering, it captures the moment that perennial-pit-boss Danilo drills home the winning goal. It’s like a GIF, but better, and I think it’s brilliant. Has anyone ever seen anything like this before? Oh, and if you must have it in GIF form, here it is, courtesy Daniel Stuckey:Follow Derek Mead on Twitter: @derektmead.
