Chicago Arts and Sports

This city has a reputation for possessing sports teams of mythical proportions. So much so, in fact, that even dudes who care about music here care about sports. (Weird.)

ART
Art is for dorks. SPORTS
This city has a reputation for possessing sports teams of mythical proportions. So much so, in fact, that even dudes who care about music here care about sports. (Weird.) Who can even come close to touching the ’85 Chicago Bears? They were totally superheroes! Think about it: They had their own shuffle, the Fridge had a G.I. Joe figure that you couldn’t even get in stores (mail-in only, fool), Mike Singletary’s nickname was “Samurai,” and Jim McMahon is the reason why I have the funniest second-grade school picture of all time (spiked hair, black Ray-Bans and a sweatband). And the Jordan-led Chicago Bulls? If you can’t remember what years they won the championship, hit any thift store in the city and you’ll find at least 42 t-shirts from each winning season.
