In other contest news, after being threatened with litigation by the jack-booted thugs of Oregon State's licensing department Austin euphoria-purveyor and self-proclaimed Oscar Gone Wilde of this epoch James Stockbauer is looking for a new mascot for the Longbranch Inn.

This design appeared in an advertisement placed by the Longbranch Inn in the March 19, 2010 edition of the Austin Chronicle. As of this date, we have not received a reply to our correspondence. There is every conceivable beaver known to man that is a logo across the world. This is not your beaver and we never wanted to look anything like your beaver. Sounds like you all are short on things to do our broke or both. I will send them ridiculous inquiry to my attorney. Really ? Wow. Might be a good reason why our hard working state does not have a multi-billion dollar state short fall like every other state in the nation. Reason: we work and know how to work. Mr. Stockbauer- While there are certainly other designs that feature a beaver, the particular design you are using violates the trademark rights Oregon State University owns in its particular logo.
