Video: Art Department - "Sun Comes Up"

You'll think twice about eating your lunch on that lovely park bench.

Late last year, the Canadian duo Art Department (a.k.a. Kenny Glasgow and Jonny Wite) unveiled its last effort of 2013: "Sun Comes Up," a sultry house single equipped with rotund bass notes and reedy vocals. This week, the No. 19 Music dudes offered us the video, which takes place around a city park that is equal parts charming and totally creepy. The camera has its favorite corners of the park and toggles between seasons or times of day and night while trained on the same locations.

Mundane clips of a father-son lunch date are spliced with images of a woman lying naked and prostrate on the same table, and a shot of a woman gardening near a fence is cut with nighttime footage of a man taking a leak in the same spot. I guess the messege here elludes to the fact that all the naughty stuff really goes on when the sun goes down. Watch this video and you'll think twice about eating your lunch on that lovely park bench.
