The London Fraudsters Who Scam People for Fun

For them, fraud is both a hobby and a career.

If the fraud industry were its own country, it would have the fifth strongest economy in the world, just ahead of the UK.

There are, of course, many motivations when it comes to committing fraud, but they all boil down to one key thing: money. Mind you, some find as much joy in the procedure as they do in the prize.

In How to Get Away with Stealing, we meet the London teenagers for whom fraud is a hobby, a way to kill boredom and the most attractive method of earning a living.

We also spend time with a Nigerian 419 scammer who shows us "wash wash", a procedure that involves dirtying up large sums of money – whether it comes from a private individual or the IRA – and then cleaning it back up again, making a ton of profit in the process.
