This week, Variety reported that Donald Trump would be staying on as an executive producer for his NBC show Celebrity Apprentice when it starts back up in January with Arnold Schwarzenegger as host.It seems a little counterintuitive for the leader of the free world to be splitting his time between draining the swamp and facilitating the production of a business-competition show, but according to Trump's camp, it's going to be totally chill.Kellyanne Conway, Trump advisor and former campaign manager, went on CNN Friday to make the whole thing a little clearer. If Obama could spend "hours and hours" on the golf course, she explained, Trump could certainly spend some time working in some capacity to get B-list celebs to compete on his TV show, right?"He's conferring with all types of experts to tell him what he's allowed to do and not to do as the president of the United States, and if this is one of the approved activities, perhaps he'll consider staying on," Conway said on New Day. "Presidents have a right to do things in their spare time or their leisure time, I mean nobody objects to that."CNN's Alisyn Camerota then asked if Trump would still be profiting off of the show with his EP credit, as he's not going to be making any money in his new job. Conway said she was "doubtful" that he would."I haven't discussed that with him directly, however there are many options," Conway said.
