On the road to HARD Summer this August, the HARD festival brand is criss-crossing the nation as part of the GO HARD tour, an excursion that will bring together a crew of DJs that could furnish a festival lineup by themselves. Just take a look at some of the names: Porter Robinson, Tchami, RL Grime, Anna Lunoe, What So Not, Eric Prydz, Dillon Francis, Destructo, Flosstradamus, DJ Snake, Griz.
It's actually not the first time HARD has hit the road. "We actually did a HARD Tour in 2010 and 2011 with Crystal Castles, Rusko, Digitalism, Jack Beats, and Caspa before we decided to focus a lot of our energy on our home here in LA," says HARD founder Gary Richards. "Now it's time to get the show back on the road."
"We've had everyone coming to us here in LA trying to be a part of this HARD way of life that we've built and this is almost a thank you to the fans," Richards goes on. "We're bringing the party to you now."
We've got an exclusive mix from Aussie bass-dropper Anna Lunoe to celebrate the tour's kick-off. She's no stranger to THUMP, or HARD for that matter. "Anna is so high energy, she's so passionate about everything she does and that really comes across in her sets and in her music," says Richards.
The mix is the melange of bass music, house, and pop that we've come to expect from Lunoe as she's crafted out a unique niche for herself in dance music. "Not many people produce, record their own vocals, and tour as a DJ and that is definitely something to admire," Richards says of Lunoe. "She works HARD and plays HARDer and that's exactly the type of personality we need on tour with us."
