Anonymous Cell Apparently Thwarts Terrorist Attacks On Clubs and Other Public Places Worldwide

Police have not yet validated Anonymous's tip-off.

ISIS has a new adversary — Anonymous. In a video statement posted last week, the hacker alliance declared war on the the Islamic terrorist group, stating "we are going to launch our biggest cyber attack ever against you. War has been declared. Prepare yourselves." Soon after the video was posted, the vigilante organization began shutting down numerous pro-Isis twitter accounts and webpages and publicly releasing the names of users.

Today, the International Business Times broke a story that a supposed subcell of Anonymous's #OpParis campaign declared on twitter that it had handed over to authorities information related to a series of planned Isis attacks that were to be executed tomorrow. Among the many targets were Le Bizen and Concrete who were among the clubs that announced that they would be reopening their doors after last weeks tragic events. Concrete's line-up included many producers on the Drumcode label, including Joel Mull, X1000, Marcelus, and label head Adam Beyer. Cigales Electroniques also planned to go through with their party at Le Bizen, which would include Bonsoir, Vocodecks, Le Max, and Mario Penati.

Both parties are due to continue. Concrete wrote a lengthy post decrying the information as "a hoax."

Among the other targets Anonymous claims were slated for attack were a WWE Match in Atlanta, and a rock concert in Milan. The police have yet to confirm whether the information provided by the cell was verifiable. @YourAnonNews, the official twitter handle of Anonymous, has not endorsed the cell's claims.
