Don't Be a Prick, go to this Philippines Benefit with Jamie XX and Floating Points

All the donations go to Doctors Without Borders

Everyone's seen the pictures, heard the news, knows someone that has family out there. Aid is only just starting to filter in to one of the worst natural disasters in recent years.

There are so many ways to help. Tonight, Plastic People have gone above and beyond the cake sale and are running a night called Dance For The Philippines. It's got Four Tet, Daphni, Floating Points, Jamie XX and Jay Daniel playing (HELLO WTF IS THIS LINEUP) and all the door donations (minimum £15) go to Doctors Without Borders, who specialise in sending aid in the form of trained experts, medicine and sanitation units. If you've got plans, think about ditching them. Doors are at 10, but probs best to get there early if you want to get in.

I spoke to Floating Points super briefly about the night. He said, "it's devastating. I can't actually believe it. You wake up in the morning and you see 10,000 feared dead. It just blows your mind. I'm a firm believer in supporting public heath initiatives, and my friends Dan, Jamie, Jay and Kieran doing the night feel like this is the very least we can do to help. It just seems like the obvious thing to do."
