GIF of the Year: Obama on a Skateboard

This is important.

This didn't happen. The President of the United States, Barack Obama, didn't roll up to the 2012 Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul on a skateboard. He didn't kick that board behind him like a bad habit before greeting South Korean President Lee Myung-bak, either. But thanks to the power of the GIF, we'll always have that moment, and thanks to the Second Annual .GIFys Awards Show for GIFs we'll always remember this magic, made-up moment as the GIF of the Year 2015.

Other winners this year include that magnetic putty that swallowed a cube, Shaq and a cat, and a Tinder-fied Roy Lichtenstein, selected by a panel whose ranks listed Animation Domination High-Def Creative Director Ben Jones, and cat, Lil Bub.
