L.I.E.S. Mainstay Simoncino's Latest Remix Sounds Like an Alien Invasion in a Warehouse

The L.I.E.S affiliate's given Yard One's new single "Karman Line" a seriously heavy duty re-rub.

Do you like records that sound as though a race of aliens have bombarded our dingy little planet and demanded to be taken to the nearest music shop, started slapping their horribly slender little fingers all over a battered and half-broken 303, and then forced the whole human race into Berghain? Oh, you do? That's pretty handy actually because that's exactly what we've got for you today.

Jordan Bruce and Larry Jones make tunes as Yard One and their newest release—which arrives on the 31st of March—marks the duo's debut for Italian label Unclear Records. The Karman Line EP sees them following in the footsteps of Unclear luminaries like Roman Flugel, Move D, and Christopher Rau, and the result is an absolute doozy.

The pick of the EP's bunch, for us at least, is L.I.E.S. producer Simoncino's churning, brutal, wickedly sinful "Warehouse Remix." It's exactly the kind of track you'd want to hear at any half-decent warehouse party. If you can't make one of those this weekend, we reckon that a lampless living room will do the job just fine. Stream the track in full below.
