West Ham's Payet Sends in Pinpoint Free Kick for a Glorious Goal

Sacre bleu.

West Ham made a solid decision last summer: transfer in a certain Ligue 1 player by the name of Dimitri Payet for a cool $15 million. Why a good decision? Because right now it's paying off in ridiculous, ridiculous dividends.

In today's FA Cup quarterfinal between West Ham and Manchester United, Payet was lined up for a free kick with a hell of a challenge in MU's wall and David DeGea watching from the other end. But Payet curled the ball with such precision, that a stray mote of dust could have concluded in a failed attempt. Because the curl and accuracy on his free kick? Sacre bleu.

UPDATE:

And now Anthony Martial had to go and do this:

Game on! Anthony Martial turns home Ander Herrera's cross at the far post, and just like that, it's 1-1! #FACUPonFOX https://t.co/ZRLbLKDpxY
