Happy solar return, Libra! The fall equinox arrived last month, on September 22, which marked the beginning of Libra season. Day and night are of equal length during this time of year; this must be where you get your sense of fairness. Will October treat you justly? Let's take a look at your month ahead:

The month is off to a dreamy start. On October 1, Venus in psychic Water sign Scorpio connects with the planet of fantasy, Neptune, in Pisces. Fairytale fantasy vibes are high! Venus is your planetary ruler, Libra, so whenever it does anything, we know it will be big for you. Under this Neptunian influence, you'll find it very easy to fall in love.

Supportive vibes will come your way on October 4 when the Sun (in your sign!) connects with the planet of rules and boundaries, Saturn, in Sagittarius. Some trustworthy news will be coming your way; best of all, all the fantasies you've been having regarding your love and finances will have a shot of surviving because Saturn will lend you some solid support as you chase your dreams. Saturn is usually the asshole of the zodiac, but it really has your back early this month, Libra!

Security and safety will be high on your priority list on October 5 when Venus connects with power planet Pluto. Watch out for news at home or with your family. Warrior Mars will also challenge jovial Jupiter today, which means people will get over-the-top angry or dramatic; however, people will also be eager to work things out and make changes.

This is definitely the kind of day where you'll need to "count to ten," but once you do, real progress can happen! Watch out for more powerful transformations on October 7 when the Sun clashes with Pluto—you'll have to make some hard choices, but it's necessary for you to do so if you want a safer, more comfortable and private home or family life. Personal space is also a high priority now: Anyone breathing down your neck has got to go.

The planet of logic and communication, Mercury, enters your sign on October 7 (for, like, two astrological seconds—it enters Scorpio on October 22). As an Air sign, you'll already hyper intellectual and social, but Mercury in your sign will make you even more talkative and eager to explore and connect. A boost in mental acuity is also on the way. If you're a writer or if you need to take care of a lot of paperwork, this is a great time to do it.

When Mercury enters Scorpio at the end of the month, this will be very exciting for your bank account: Expect news about cash to come your way. On a more emotional level, conversations about self-esteem and value will also be on the menu as the Mercury transits emotional Water sign Scorpio.

Mid-month is major for your relationships! On October 15, some surprises will come your way when the Sun opposes Uranus, the planet of the unexpected. "Surprises" may be too light a word—perhaps explosions? Fireworks? The vibe is always electric when Uranus is around, and it's currently in impulsive Fire sign Aries, meaning the energy will be totally ramped up. Confrontations will be unavoidable at this time, and, as always with Uranus, expect the unexpected.

October 16 brings the full moon in Aries. Full moons are times of culmination and completion. What are you ready to wrap up, especially on the relationship front? Full moons are overwhelming and emotional, so expect some drama to pop up—especially considering the fact that Uranus is in the mix, creating an erratic, unpredictable vibe. A lot will come to light about your relationships during this full moon! Another day to highlight in your calendar is October 20, when chatty Mercury will oppose Uranus, bringing more surprising information your way. Again, the desire to "break free" or have new experiences will be very strong at this time.

Will the surprises that Uranus brings your way be painful or awesome? I don't know, but flirty messages do begin pouring in on October 18, when sexy Venus enters Sagittarius (a Fire sign that rivals Gemini for having the biggest mouth in the zodiac). Venus will be in Sagittarius until November 11, and, just like outgoing Sagittarius, you, too, will be inspired to explore and connect with others.

While Venus is in Sagittarius, you'll have an increased likelihood of finding romantic or financial jackpots during your commute or at your local bar or cafe. So get your face out of your phone if you're looking for a hook-up, and get to a new bar in your town—on your way, you'll likely find a $20 bill on the ground!

The Sun enters Scorpio on October 22 and lights up the sector of your chart that rules possessions, finances, and value. A fresh start around these themes will come your way at the end of the month, on October 30, during the new moon in Scorpio. This new moon is a fantastic time to cast money spells, or meet with someone who could advise you on how to grow your wealth.

October 25 isn't a great day for making promises—you and those you're interacting with genuinely do wish to keep them, but it's unlikely it will work out. People won't have good sense today: Venus will challenge hazy, foggy Neptune, the planet of confusion. Communication issues will be especially annoying, and people will be feeling sensitive.

The energy around communicating will be easier on October 26, thanks to Venus connecting with generous Jupiter in Libra; however, this still isn't an ideal time to make solid plans or commitments. Instead, use this energy for a heart-to-heart about the mysteries of the universe.

Tension bubbles up at home and in your safe spaces on October 29, thanks to warrior Mars challenging Uranus. You're likely to make some impulsive decisions and, again, your desire for freedom will be very strong. "How many chances can I give?" is a question you'll ask—not only of others, but yourself, too. If a project or goal isn't working out for you, you may decide it's time to stop putting in the effort.
