Stephen Colbert has been lying relatively low ever since The Colbert Report ended last December. Having a nightly talk show is probably a pretty serious grind, so it makes sense that the guy wanted to kick back and pull off his faux-Republican pundit necktie for a minute before stepping into Letterman's shoes as host of the Late Show. He finally emerged from his hermit slumber today in the first video promo for the new Late Show with Stephen Colbert, sporting a very dashing silver beard. The so-called "Colbeard" didn't last very long, though. Watch it slowly slop away above, and silently wonder if Colbert is blowing through case upon case of Just for Men to keep his hair that raven-black shade.
