Guy Trying to Break Police Station Windows with a Bat Gets Trucked by Cop

The man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.

Take a look at this man, who for some reason, was taking a bat to the entrance of a California police department. He casually strolls up to the window of the West Covina police department, raps his bat against the window a couple of times and then starts hacking. There was a group of women in the lobby near the spot he chose who scurried away when they realized what he was doing. But he was undeterred.

The glass must have been tempered or bulletproof, though, because he was getting nowhere with it. Eventually he made his way to the entrance and just stood there menacing for a bit before taking some more decidedly weak hacks at the door. It is at this point, around the 45 second mark, when you can see a figure in a dark shirt and khakis emerge in the top left corner of the screen. He's an important part of this intersection of baseball and football.

Shortly after appearing, the cop who happened to be outside while all of this was going down, decides to check about all the commotion. He slowly walks out of the picture and does not re-emerge until nearly 30 seconds later. It's worth the wait.

BOOM!

That is some fine work all around. The stealthy approach is only topped by the perfect form tackle he used to take this dude and his Craig Counsell-ass batting stance down.

According to West Covina police, the man was taken to a local hospital to treat minor injuries from the fall, but not before he was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
