Frankie Bones Dropped a Jungle-Inspired Blaze Edit While Dissing SFX

The New York producer also tossed a barb in DJ Sneak's direction, for good measure.

The ever-outspoken Brooklyn DJ, Frankie Bones, just tossed out some black belt-level rave shade, posting a jungle-influenced edit of the Blaze deep house classic "Lovelee Dae" which he dubbed the "Frankie Bones 2016 Reprise." Although the download should immediately enter the USB stick of any self-respecting house jock, the release in itself wouldn't usually raise eyebrows. But the Facebook post that accompanied the tune was equally entertaining. In the space of just a few sentences, Bones declares apathy towards yesterday's SFX bankruptcy, pledges allegiance to his local drum & bass night, and casts some mild side-eye at fellow rave royalty DJ Sneak.

"My News Feed is full of SFX links as if going bankrupt is going to mean anything to anyone???" Bones writes. "It's a lovely day for me, just because I'm independent and my love for music cannot be stopped." He then goes on to illustrate the unexpected impact of attending his local jungle night on this new remix,"When people see me supporting Drum & Bass events in New York like Renegade Hardware, it's because I respect D&B in ways that help me be me. You can hear that effect on me here."

Finally, he throws a mild barb in the direction of DJ Sneak. "I don't make G-House to get a little silver star from DJ Sneaks "House Gangster" elite. I make banGin tracks to wreck shop as told right here."

But controversy-baiting disses aside he is right about that last point. It does indeed "wreck shop." Listen below.
