Let's start by looking at the new moon in Gemini on June 4. We love new moons because they bring new beginnings, but sometimes change can be very frustrating—you feel like you're in the dark, waiting to see what will happen next.

Unfortunately, anxiety about the future could be a vibe you pick up on during this new moon; however, I do have some advice for you, my crab friend: This new moon is activating a deeply emotional, psychic, and private area of your chart, one that symbolizes repressed fears, hidden secrets, and unconscious desires. Use this new moon to dive deeper into your subconscious mind, rather than worrying about the future. Heal the past instead.

Connect with friends or counselors you can trust—there's a lot of emotional clearing that you can get done during this new moon, as long as you use the energy productively. This is also a perfect new moon to catch up on some rest and much-needed alone time. If you're able to redo your schedule in some way that would allow you to sleep more, or to have more time to hang out with friends, do it!

Both the Sun and Venus will square (a tense astrological aspect) abundant, happy Jupiter, on this date as well, which could translate as you feeling like you're not getting everything you want. You might be right—but maybe it's too soon to say? This new moon is about going within, not getting more stuff.

You could feel especially left out of conversations or feel like you haven't expressed yourself sufficiently—give it time! Honestly, you probably don't really know what you want right now anyway, so sleep on it during the new moon and wait for another opportunity to express yourself.

Speaking of fantasy, on June 13, whimsical Neptune turns retrograde in fellow Water sign Pisces! This will take place in the sector of your chart that rules travel (as if you ever like leaving your house, Cancer) and learning. Neptune is a very creative, dreamy energy, but it also brings confusion.

You could feel unclear about what your vision for the future is—not something you'll appreciate after that new moon, but I guess that's just what your task is this month, Cancer: learning to let go and to accept that you won't always know where you're headed. Maybe getting a little lost could be good for you?

June 17 is one of the highlights of the month, and I have some good news and some not horrible, but not awesome news. I'll start with the good: Sexy Venus enters your sign today, boosting your confidence and making you feel (and be!) more attractive and seductive. Venus rules love, beauty, money, and harmony; with this planet in your sign, a sense of balance and elegance will surround you.

Also on June 17, Saturn will square Neptune. Saturn is all about rules and structures, while Neptune just floats around in a dream world. Saturn builds boundaries, whereas Neptune dissolves them—and when these two planets clash, things do get frustrating.

Some disappointment could come your way today, especially if you believed in irresponsible things or people. You'll especially notice this tense astrological transit take place around your chores and responsibilities, during your commute, or if you're traveling or taking any classes.

Perhaps the professor you admired isn't so great after all, or the beach vacation you were dreaming of isn't so relaxing? This is also a time to think twice about having other people do your work for you. Managing confusion, frustration, and feeling like you don't know what's coming up next is a big theme for you this month, and the clash between Saturn and Neptune will make things feel even more exasperating. Because Cancer is one of the most nurturing, empathetic signs in the zodiac, people often think you have endless patience. Some clarity could arrive on June 20 when the Sun enters your sign and brings the full moon in straight-shooting Fire sign Sagittarius. Not too much clarity, though—the heavens are really into making you use your intuition this month. Mercury, the planet of logic, will square foggy Neptune today as well. Mercury will also oppose taskmaster Saturn, which will bring some additional obstacles.

This full moon will put focus on your relationships, which is where most of the clarity will be manifesting. Your work/life balance will still need some ironing out, and, in terms of the bigger picture, you'll start trying to figure out what direction you want to go with everything.

On June 26, lucky Jupiter in Virgo trines (one of the easiest astrological aspects) power planet Pluto in Capricorn, which will bring lots of good, supportive energy to your relationships. Pluto rules transformation, while Jupiter brings growth, and having some positive changes occur in your partnerships will definitely lighten you up after such a mystifying month. Also on this day, Mercury in Gemini will connect with Uranus in Aries, which will bring an exciting conversation about you career plans or popularity.

Things finally move forward at the end of the month: Mercury enters Cancer on June 29, which is awesome for you in terms of finally feeling able to express yourself! And even better news: Mars, which has been retrograde since April 17, finally goes direct on June 29. Mars retrograde is cranky, mean, and it makes us all feel like we're not getting anywhere. Mars is the conqueror—it wants to move forward, not retreat and revise.
