This Free Kick From the Malaysian Super League is Insane

This goal is bonkers.

This is from a game in the Malaysian Super League yesterday between Penang and Pahang FC and it might just be the goal of the year. Penang's Faiz Subri lined up for a free kick from more than 30 meters out and put such a knuckling curve on it, nearly everyone was gobsmacked when it went in. Just look at this madness:

Subri's kick started out well left of the goal, curling around the two-man wall in front of him, and then somewhere along the way it ditched physics and went swooping well above Pahang keeper Nasril Nourdin's head as he watched it curl inside the far post. Nourdin's look back over his shoulder from bended knee is just about right. What else can you do about that? This is like the nastiest curveball Clayton Kershaw ever threw, except dude did it with his foot.

It was Subri's second goal in a 4-1 win over Pahang, and it helped Penang earn their first win of the season.
