Lil Kim, Eve, and Trina Unite on Missy Elliott's "I'm Better" Remix

I hope you're sitting comfortably.

Having just appeared on an especially good remix mere days ago herself, Missy Elliott has decided to release one of her own—and the line-up she's assembled is actually kind of jaw-dropping. Her remix of "I'm Better," the trap-influenced single she dropped back in January, features hip-hop heavyweights Lil Kim, Eve and Trina all in one place (take a minute to re-centre, it's cool), so I'd recommend that you're sitting comfortably before you click play above.

Everyone is on fine form—Kim opens proceedings with an AutoTune-inflected verse, Trina takes the middle section with what is arguably the line of the track ("I'm better, better than them / And I get wetter than them," simple, effective and absolutely amazing), and Eve rounds off proceedings nicely with a good old fashioned brag-fest centred on her skills. It's all set against the cold beat of the original, with Missy yelling "REEEEEMIX" intermittently, so you know it slaps hard.

Announcing the remix on Twitter, Missy wrote "Brought a few legends out for this one," and she really meant it. Petition for these four to start a supergroup, tbh.
