HMV in the 1960s

Maybe if things still looked this cool, people would still "buy" records from "shops."

Once upon a time, when the record industry was but a glint in RapidShare's eye and records weren't made out of air, people had to leave their houses and go out to shops to buy them. In England, a lot of people did this at a place called HMV. Once purchased, music-lovers would keep their music on shelves. Shelves! If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stomping on some shelves. Forever.
