Ex-Presidents Don't Want You, They Want Your Babies

Somewhere in between the sordid irreverence of this track are stoned flecks of Weezer riffs and the slurriness of Fidlar.

In their own words, London group Ex-Presidents don't want to be taken too seriously. Jamie and Kim, the group's initial members, met ten years ago while chugging beer at a campsite in Newquay. At first, the group's shows simply acted as a sanctuary for pissed-up underage drinkers, but three years ago they met an Athenian speed-metal/riot girl called Nassia and the circle was complete. Ex-Presidents became a proper band, dedicated to rehearsing and recording rather than drinking. Over the past year they've been practicing at Dalston's Power Lunches (RIP our sweet prince) and Hoxton's the Premises while recording their debut EP—which, for reasons unbenowst to Noisey, is called Hot as Balls.

Today we are premiering the first song from that EP, a track called "I Don't Want You (I Want Your Babies)". Obviously it's as irreverant and sordid as the title suggests, but somewhere in between there are stoned flecks of Weezer riffs and the slurriness of Fidlar. Listen below.
