Vancouver: Come Screen 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die,' a New Nirvana Documentary by Noisey Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro!

Tonight, come celebrate Nirvana's legacy (and watch a film and listen to music and get drunk).

Hello, Canadians! When Noisey Editor-in-Chief Benjamin Shapiro isn't busy making this here site run, he's been hard at work putting together I Hate Myself and I Want to Die, a documentary featuring a never-before-seen, intimate look at the rise (and tragic abrupt end) of Nirvana. Ben and fellow Nirvana-enthusiast Greg Eggebeen have been combing through archival footage as well as fan tributes—they even found Kurt's long-lost 1984 homemade horror film Horror Movies (Kurt's Bloody Suicide)—to provide a new perspective on the now-legendary band.
