Ayesha Curry is Getting a Cooking Show and Everyone is Razzing Her for Razzing Hoes

This is a good meme.

This is my favorite meme in quite some time. It was recently announced that Ayesha Curry is getting a cooking show on Food Network, tentatively called At Home with Ayesha. (Food Network, here's a free one: Curry Dishes.) This is fine news, whatever, but in response, the internet is sending up Ayesha for her schoolmarmish ways. Curry has tweeted about women and fashion in the past, noting how the modern trend seems to be to show a lot of skin, which she disagrees with. That is her right, of course, but since she's famous she caught some flack for it, with some even saying she was slut-shaming.

Everyone's into barely wearing clothes these days huh? Not my style. I like to keep the good stuff covered up for the one who matters

Just looking at the latest fashion trends. I'll take classy over trendy any day of the week. #saturdaynightinsight

Here's a response to someone tweeting how they wanted to have a threesome with Ayesha and her husband, Steph.

Yes maybe one day we will play a round of golf together… https://t.co/nJA4UAFefO

Pretty harmless stuff, but Curry has found herself as a sort of unwitting figurehead for What Women Should Be Like. She's devoutly religious, like her husband, in a committed relationship, wholesome, and attractive. She has been posited as the "anti-hoe," mostly by dudes, and that has paved the way for a tremendous meme that pushes back against that notion, with Ayesha casually razzing the morally looser folks of the world while preparing her dishes.

I don't know when her show starts, but this is a good meme.
