Missouri has suspended Matty Mauk indefinitely after this video surfaced showing what appears to be the Mizzou quarterback snorting a line of cocaine. It's dark, and it's tough to know for sure if it's Mauk, and obviously we have no idea what he is actually snorting, but Missouri made the decision anyway to suspend their quarterback for the third time in four months.

Missouri AD Mack Rhoades and head coach Barry Odom released a joint statement last night, announcing the suspension.

"We are currently gathering information regarding the video in question. This is an issue we take very seriously and one that will not be tolerated within our program. We will take appropriate action once we have all the facts. In the interim, Maty Mauk has been indefinitely suspended from the Mizzou football program."

Mauk was suspended four games last September for an unspecified violation of team rules. Then, a week after he was reinstated, he was suspended for the remainder of the season after getting into a drunken altercation at a local bar.The incident at the bar happened just hours after Mauk had apologized to his teammates for his initial four-game suspension. Despite being suspended for the final eight games of his junior year, Odom—who replaced Gary Pinkel in December after he resigned for health reasons—reinstated Mauk after several "long talks together" during which the quarterback apparently convinced Odom that he was on the straight and narrow.

Let this be a lesson, don't ever do anything if someone is holding their phone near you.
