Broncos Buses Get into Fender Bender, Will Probably Lose Super Bowl

Denver is in a tough spot now.

To keep the day interesting, we have a small wreck. Looks like everyone is ok though. #SB50 pic.twitter.com/CjXTG5d6gx

On the way back to the team hotel after practice at Stanford Monday afternoon, the Denver Broncos buses got into what the team called a "minor" fender bender. No one on board the buses suffered any injuries and everyone is already back at the hotel, so crisis averted. Except the Denver Broncos buses got into an accident before the Super Bowl.

ProFootballTalk has some information:

at least one bus took what a source described to PFT as a "heavy hit." The Broncos say that "several" of the buses "sustained damage."

As we've seen in the recent past, these sorts of minor disasters are determinative when it comes to wins and loses. The Vikings lost to the Seahawks in excruciating fashion mere hours after their enormous Gjallarhorn froze to death. While presumptive league MVP Peyton Manning and Co. were in the driver's seat for Super Bowl 50, with many predicting Denver would steam roll the Panthers' inferior offense, things are not looking so great now.
