Flappy Bird, a popular smartphone game that got taken down from the App Store, is back in with a new variation called FlapMMO, a massively multiplayer online version of the original where you can play with hundreds of others at the same time.The game is simple--you press any button on your keyboard to keep a bird-character floating in the air while evading a series of obstacles. This multiplayer iteration lists how many people are playing at once (currently just shy of 700), as well as the top score achieved overall.FlapMMO turns a popular game that's typically a solo endeavor, and makes it a community-focused, open-sourced experience that's possibly more fun than the original.
