Guy Who Said He Lost a Tooth on Scavenger Hunt for Signed Tom Brady Shoes Admits He Made It Up

The Boston fan said he fell down looking for the shoes and busted himself up, then weeks later, said he made the whole thing up.

Is nothing sacred anymore? If we can't trust a man camping out on Tom Brady's Facebook page trying to get free signed shoes, then who can we trust? Fake news is all around us.

But seriously, dude, what are you doing? Luke Barosky, from Boston, couldn't find one of his three pairs of signed slippers in December so he posted on Brady's Facebook page with some facacta story about running and losing a tooth because he was looking so hard for them during a scavenger hunt. He added a picture to the post with some ketchup or something on his face, and what appears to be a gap between his teeth. Who knows, it's entirely possible he is simply missing teeth already. Anyway, the story went viral and Brady got wind of it, so he told him to get in touch and he'd make him whole again. Barosky followed Brady's orders to the letter, and got his coveted shoes.

You won, guy. So why are you coming out and saying it was all a lie, as the AP reports? Donating one of the shoes to charity, like Barosky says he'll do, isn't going to make this better. There's no upside here. People are gonna look at you funny either way—don't make it worse on yourself.
