Holy Shit the Packers Tied the Game and What the Hell Did We all Just Watch??

Holy shit Aaron Rodgers actually did it and then the Cardinals un-did it.

Holy mother of shit. Holy shit. Whaaaaaat? The Cardinals beat the Packers 26-20 in the craziest game of the postseason, and that's saying something because we've seen some wild games this year. What follows is a real-time account of the final seconds of the game.

Aaron Rodgers just threw another Hail Mary to tie the game as time expired in the fourth quarter. I don't even know what to say. In a sense, it's only fair. The Cardinals took the lead in such a ridiculous way, the Packers didn't deserve to lose that way. In another sense, I think I would like to be legally married to Aaron Rodgers's arm.

Even though Rodgers did most of the work, Jeff Janis did make an incredible catch and was able to corral it, not unlike Martavis Bryant, by jamming it against his body. So, unbelievably, we are going to overtime. But first, let's flip the coin for possession. Oh shit, it didn't flip. What? What the hell is happening in this game, man? How do you flip a coin and it doesn't flip? How do you have slow-mo HD isolation on the coin? So many questions, but OK, just flip it again and let's see what other crazy shit happens next.

I wrote that sentence up there—"let's see what other crazy shit happens next"—seconds before publishing what would be an untimely blog because seconds later, Larry Fitzgerald was left wide open and ran 75 yards to the Green Bay five-yard line on the first play from scrimmage in overtime. This game has been absolutely bonkers.

Carson Palmer had to scramble and spin out of the pocket, and when he faced around again, he saw Larry Fitz just hanging out all by himself near the Packers sideline. Fitz caught it and then just bossed his way through the Packers defense. The play went from looking like he would get tackled around midfield, to oh man, he's not going to do this is he? to Oh my God I think he's really going to do it, to Jesus, he really almost did it.

Then he did do it two plays later on a little shovel pass to win one of the most entertaining and batshit games I can remember.
