Coach Blocks Little Kid Who Was Shooting on the Wrong Basket

This little kid ran down the court in transition, got the ball, and then ran back to try to shoot on his own rim.

We wish we could tell you more details about this youth league basketball video (like where this takes place, and why these kids aren't learning basketball the right way) but because this is the INTERNET, sometimes stuff pops up without any context. Nevertheless, it's worth a look.

The team in green had themselves a nice opportunity to score a bucket in transition when one kid decided he might try re-writing the rules of basketball. Trailing the action, this kid called for the ball, and his larger teammate, who actually follows the conventional rules, made the mistake of giving it to him. The kid catches the ball, travels, and then finally starts dribbling back from whence he came.

Someone in the crowd started yelling "Noooo, nooooo!" but this kid was locked in. He drove to the hoop and, then out of nowhere, his coach came running onto the court and swatted his shit away. As the kid looked up at him from the ground, the coach made a don't-shoot-on-this-hoop gesture. C'mon, kid. Don't make your own coach block your shot.
