In 2011, the majority of the world was introduced to Detroit rapper Danny Brown as a supremely talented eccentric emcee with a love for partying a little too hard. What most of those new fans didn't get to see is the more street-wise music that Brown released before his transition to one of rap's closest things to a rockstar with his XXX mixtape. A new Apple Music documentary on the rapper takes a closer look at Brown's origins. Live at the Majestic, directed by Andrew Cohn, follows the Detroit star as he prepares for a homecoming show at Detroit's Majestic Theatre. Watch the trailer above and catch the full documentary on November 7 on Apple Music.
