Here we have video from a National Intramural Recreational Sports Association basketball game featuring Georgia Southern's Loy Waters hitting an incredible shot to beat the buzzer. As you often see as time winds down, Waters's teammate rolled the ball to him from under his own net to keep the clock from starting. Waters picked it up in the corner a few feet away, squatting with his back to his target, and heaved it over his head just before the buzzer sounded.There are only two ways this could have gone: either a wayward shot that never had a chance, or a complete swish. Waters, who spent some time on the Georgia Southern football team as a defensive back, hit nothing but net, stunning everyone in the gym.
