Good morning, America. It's January 11th, 2016. Welcome to the VICE Sports World News Roundup. Be sure to stop every morning for more headlines from around the world.

U.K. Athletics has proposed a number of reforms in the wake of the Russian doping scandal. Among the proposed reforms, the organization is calling for wiping all world records and starting again. It's also calling for a system in which clean athletes who lost to athletes found to be doped would be compensated.

Speaking of doping, the Independent wrote about all this (doped?) blood taken from a cycling doctor that's been in a Barcelona medical facility for years. The blood is supposed to be destroyed, but a Spanish court will soon rule on whether it will or not, and whether we'll all find out how doped that blood is. It's a weird story!

Ex-Bayern and Inter winger Xherdan Shaqiri, who is just 24, finally explained why he's now playing for Stoke City:

"One time I was injured and I needed to be ready for a game. They told me that there was a miraculous healer who lived in the mountains. I drove for half an hour in a car to have been manipulated by an old man, but he did not help me at all. This is also why Stoke City was the best choice: here there are seven physiotherapists, who will examine me everyday: hips, feet, legs. Everything in a professional manner."

Oxford United, a team in English soccer's fourth tier, beat Premier League team Swansea City 3-2 in the FA Cup. Way to go, Oxford.

Jurgen Klopp on the biggest difference between English and German soccer: "The number of games is the biggest difference." Guess which nation plays too much?

A fan with a camel tried to get into the qualifiers for a World Cup ski jumping event in Willingen, Germany. (Link in German) The camel didn't get in.

The Guardian has a little feature on Michu (remember him?). The on-time Premier League top scorer is now playing amateur ball in Spain. Injuries, man.

Yaya Toure's agent said some inflammatory things about Pep Guardiola, who will presumably take over at Manchester City come the summertime. Guardiola was coach of Barcelona when Yaya left for City, and became a superstar in the process. After saying he and Yaya hope Guardiola doesn't come to City, he said the following:

"Pep is a great coach. But he has won the title at Barcelona and Bayern Munich. The truth is that my grandfather would win the title with Barcelona and Bayern Munich because they are big clubs with great players. I'd like to see Pep take a club that is eighth or ninth and make them champions."

So would I!

ESPN's Baxter Holmes had a nice little feature on Larry Nance Jr., the Lakers' rookie power. He has hustle:
