Muhammad Ali, the greatest boxer—and perhaps the most important athlete—of all time, died over the weekend. He was 74.

Jose Mourinho is due for questioning in Eva Carneiro's suit against Chelsea. Carneiro reportedly rejected a settlement offer of £1.2 million from the club.

A 25-year-old Frenchman was arrested along the border between Ukraine and Poland with a reported 125kg of TNT and various weapons, according to Ukrainian officials. He was thought to have been planning a series of attacks during the Euro 2016 tournament, which kicks off this week in France.

Copa America started over the weekend. Among the goals and cards, a few notable things occurred. Before Uruguay played Mexico (Mexico won 3-1), the stadium loudspeaker broadcast Chile's national anthem rather than Uruguay's. Oops!

During Jamaica's 1-0 loss to Venezuela (ouch!), a camera man took a ball to the dome.

Novak Djokovic beat Andy Murray to take the French Open. Djokovic now has a full set of Grand Slam silverware.

In England, Soccer Aid brought together two old foes, Ronaldinho and David Seamon. In 2002, Ronaldinho scored one of the greatest World Cup goals of all time when he somehow chipped Seamon from really far away. He had a chance to do it again at the charity event, but couldn't get the ball to stay down. (H/T Reddit.)
