Liverpool fans are not the only fans angry at rising ticket prices. In the German league cup, Borussia Dortmund fans halted their match against Stuttgart (a 3-1 win) by throwing tennis balls onto the field.

Liverpool lost in the FA Cup to West Ham, 2-1.

The BBC paints a doomsday picture of what life in the Premier League will be like should ticket prices continue to go up. Their lede: "Stadiums will be filled with 'tourists' waving 'half and half scarves and taking selfies' if ticket prices rise further, warned Football Supporters' Federation chairman Malcolm Clarke."

Some tennis officials have been banned after they were caught delaying the input of scores into their match tablets so gamblers in the audience could place bets in advance of the odds reaching bookmakers.
